Soccer Genes

He's a soccer player!

This morning as Faith and I were waking up, she felt George/Eli/Amani kicking like crazy, apparently more than he usually does. (She's been feeling him kick regularly for a few weeks now.) And since I had yet to feel him kick she had me place my hand on her stomach.

Two minutes later I felt our son kick! It was such a marvelous feeling! He's definitely got my genes in him, because I could feel that he was using the top of his foot in a true soccer player's style when trying to put much power behind the kick.

So on April 25, 2006 (4 months before our due date) I first felt George/Eli/Amani kick.
